Hi, I'm Martin Bailey and I own Wildlife & Countryside Services. I am an experienced ecologist, specialising in protected wildlife including bats, newts, reptiles, natterjack toads, red squirrels, badgers and dormice. I'm regularly called on by those who require ecological and protected species surveys, creation and management of wildlife habitats, and management of protected species. I coordinate several specialist teams and individuals around the UK and Ireland, who provide an excellent service, affordably and efficiently. Also on this site you can find field equipment including bat detectors, digital recorders, binoculars, torches and trail cameras, as well as species-related stuff such as wildlife fencing and gates, nesting/roosting boxes and badger bait-marking pellets.

	Our Eco Support team specialises in habitat and protected species work, including newt and reptile fencing, habitat enhancement for water voles, hedgelaying, pond construction, provision of hibernacula and refugia, throughout the UK.
	Our specialist Invasive Vegetation Management team guarantees to eradicate Japanese Knotweed within one growing season, anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
	We provide wildlife surveys and conservation advice for protected species including bats, birds, badgers, dormice, red squirrels, great crested newts, natterjack toads, water voles, lizards and snakes. By using experts from around the UK, we can get a local specialist to you quickly and affordably, thereby cutting down on delays and costs, and ensuring you get the best possible service as efficiently as possible.
	We have an extensive team of specialists available for all wildlife & countryside work, whether protected species surveys and mitigation or riverbank stabilisation and creation/restoration of habitats.
