All goods and services are supplied in good faith, and goods remain
the property of Wildlife & Countryside Services until full payment is
received. We reserve the right to retrieve goods that have not been paid for when requested.
All goods are covered by our 60 day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and can be returned for a full refund within 60 days, provided they are returned in the condition in which they were received. All returns must be authorized by us.
All bat detectors supplied by us have our exclusive extra year's warranty, which gives you an extra year's warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. On most units this means you get a two year warranty instead of a one year warranty, but in the case of the SM3 and SM4 units you get a four year warranty instead of the manufacturer's three year warranty. The extra warranty covers all issues covered by the initial warranty.
Acorn trail cameras are covered by the manufacturer's one year warranty plus you get our exclusive Lifetime Backup & Support.
Goods covered by the manufacturer's warranty can be returned at any time
during the warranty period for replacement or refund, as per the warranty. We
regret that we may not be able to reimburse carriage costs, unless these are
covered by the manufacturer. Returns will usually be sent directly to the manufacturer, not to us, but we must be consulted before any returns are made. All returns must be in the original packaging, as received from us.
All goods manufactured by Wildlife & Countryside Services or their agents are warranted to
be suited for the purposes listed on this web site, and any item which is
faulty will be replaced, or a credit note issued, provided that: 1. it has been
handled, used, installed in the manner specified; 2. the problem is due to
either faulty construction or failure of parts (except where due to natural
degradation of timber, etc.).
Items made from timber do have a limited
lifespan, which depends on the type of timber used and the site of use. Where a
longer life is required, oak or other long-lasting timber should be used. All measurements are approximate,
and we may change specifications from time to time.
We can not offer any guarantee on seeds and plants, due to the nature of
biological materials, but we strive at all times to only supply the best
quality stock, either home-grown or from reputable suppliers.
All orders must include full payment, unless alternative arrangements have been
agreed, and carriage costs may be charged after delivery, at cost, if not
included in the prices given. Invoices must be paid by the due date, either by
cheque or bank transfer, and we understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim
interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation
if we are not paid according to agreed terms. Where invoices remain unpaid, ownership of any goods supplied will
remain with us, and we reserve the right to recover them. Where an order is
cancelled, we reserve the right to charge a handling fee for any preparatory
work undertaken, or in the case of special orders the full amount may be
Payments made via the website will result in your credit/debit card being charged immediately, regardless of how quickly we are able to dispatch your order.
During times of high demand, there may be a delay on some items, especially nesting boxes and badger gates. While we always strive to get your order to you
as soon as possible, it may be that you require the item by a certain date. Should this be
the case, and you don't inform us, we cannot promise to deliver when you would prefer. Therefore,
if you require your order by a certain date, please let us know. If you should place your order,
and then find that it will not arrive in time, we will refund your payment in full if you request
it (if you delay your request, a partial refund may be made to cover preparatory work, or a refund
may not be possible if a special order has been partially or fully completed). It is always best
to check with us if you require your order by a specific date.
Many of the items on the web site are supplied directly from the manufacturer, therefore if there is any problem with a delivery we will take it up with them
on your behalf. We will always do our utmost to rectify any problem, but we ask that you remember that some things may be 'out of our hands'. Some services
and products may require you to deal directly with a third party, and in these cases you may be required to pay the third party supplier rather than us. This
means that any problem you may have with the products or services supplied by them is their responsibility, not ours. We will, at all times, assist you in
any dispute with a third party, as much as we are able, but we cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings on their part, and will not under any circumstances
be liable for any financial recompense arising from a dispute with them.
We are now registered for VAT, and all prices quoted on the website include VAT at 20%. If you require a VAT invoice, then please request one at time of order, as these are not automatically issued. Our VAT number is GB 135 8026 22.
All services provided require payment on receipt
We aim to provide the best service possible, but biological surveys may be
limited by the seasons, weather, etc. We can not be held responsible for species present
which could not be identified due to season or climatic conditions at the time
of survey. It should also be noted that animals not found during surveys may
not be absent, therefore even if species such as bats & badgers are
not recorded during surveys, it should not be assumed that they are or will remain
absent. Badger setts may appear overnight, and bats will move from roost to
roost, therefore vigilance is necessary to ensure that the wildlife legislation
is not contravened.
Note that all payments must be in UK Pounds Sterling.
Payment by credit card
is available, either through the Add to Cart buttons on the web site, or
through special links provided via e-mail for specific products or services, or over the telephone.
All credit card payments are handled by PayPal or Stripe, and we do not have access to
your credit card details unless you pay over the telephone. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. We can not be held responsible for any errors during
your submission of credit card payments, but should any duplicate payments be
accidentally made, we will immediately return the excess payment. Should you
have any problems with this payment system, please let us know.
