These pages have been redesigned and the library is being updated. Some pages have not been uploaded yet, so we ask you for your patience.


The wildlife library page listing is based around ten page groups which loosely cover all animals and plants.

Some of the data sheet information may be a bit brief to start with but will be expanded at a later date.

Images will be made available for printing after I have had time to update my image file archive. If you are looking for something in the meantime, please get in touch with me and I will be happy to help you if I can.

The library is not intended as a definitive list but I hope it will, with time, prove useful for identification of some of the life forms that inhabit the highlands.

I will be including new material on an informal basis for an extended period and you may find empty pages occasionally. Please keep visiting as they will eventually be populated.

I don't ever expect to include more than a fraction of the species living in the area but I will enjoy trying.
