Very interesting and just what I needed. I now have a log pile on a waste piece of garden and hope to work towards a wildlife friendly ‘patch’ that’s if my back holds out. Being of the wrong side of 60 just means that it will take me rather longer than most, although I am sure the bees, birds and butterflies not to mention the odd fox and two will not mind. thanks ever so much for your help!! i will get intouch with the company you suggested. as for the badgers, we give them the peanuts, peanut butter sandwiches and golden syrup instead of honey for cost reasons. they haven't seemed to notice the differnce. we are very fortunate because a bakery near my husbands work kindly gives us they items they would normally be dispossing of twice a week for the badgers, talk about being spoiled!!!!
